“We needed some art to put around the performance space and thought, why not utilize other people’s love for Bette? The plays are all about the two playwrights and their love for Bette, so why not include art around the space that does the same? It’s our goal to have images from people all over the country, all different ages and backgrounds, sharing the common thread that they, like the playwrights, have been touched in some way by the Divine Miss M.
