Bette Midler, who co-stars with Woody Allen in Paul Mazursky’s “From a Mall” at Disney next summer, moves over to Fox in the fall to play a World War ll USO entertainer in “For the Boys” for her All-Girl Productions.
While she’s thus involved, her All-Girl partner Bonnie Bruckheimer will continue to oversee development of the firm ’s longplanned biopics on bandleader Ina Ray Hutton and singer/actress Lotte Lenya, both of which are still planned as starring vehicles for Bette.
