The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) returns for its annual New York Fall Gala on November 7 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine with host Neil Patrick Harris.

The gala — which celebrates the foundation’s 25th anniversary this year — will pay tribute to founder Elton John and his contributions to his foundation and beyond. “Elton’s philanthropic endeavors and activism for human rights and the arts have inspired millions and made a positive difference in people’s lives around the world,” said EJAF Chairman David Furnish in a press release about the event. “But without a doubt, Elton’s greatest contribution as a humanitarian is his 25-year commitment to building one of the most important institutions in the effort to end AIDS – the Elton John AIDS Foundation.”

Multiple celebrities and public figures will attend the gala, including those who are part of its Founder’s Circle, a group of former recipients of the EJAF’s Enduring Vision Award and Founder’s Award. This includes Hillary Clinton and President Bill Clinton, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Stone, and more. Elton John also announced Tuesday that Aretha Franklin will perform in his honor, before she retires later this year.

The Gala’s event chairs include Katy Perry, Billy Joel, Quincy Jones, Cyndi LauperBette Midler, among others.

For tickets, contact Andreas Schwarz at the Elton John AIDS Foundation, 212-219-0670 or andreas.schwarz@ejaf.org. You can find more information about the foundation here.
