James Matthews – What A Lovely Way To Burn
Confessions of a Peggy Lee Fan

James Matthews

Last year (January 19th, 2005) I reported that one of our favorite BetteHeads, James Matthews, was performing a one man show, cabaret act, in New York City. Anybody remember what the show was about?

Well, it was a tribute to Peggy Lee!!! And who is Miss M paying tribute to on her upcoming CD??? Anybody hear the “Twightlight Zone” theme music playing? 🙂

Needless to say the show was quite a success, so James was asked to do an encore. So Bravo to Mr. Matthews!!! Here are the details:

So if you are a Peggy Lee fan and/or a Bette Midler fan, then this is the place to be. I hope some of you who live in New York or in close proximity can make it. I’d love to hear about it…and it would be even better if you could get some pics or bootleg the show…all I have to look forward to here in Nashville is a tribute to Skeeter Davis!

As they say, “break a leg” James. Very excited for you…

    Love. Mister D
