No UK Tour For Bette – Wikipedia You Suck

Although Wikipedia’s The Showgirl Must Go On page shows that there will be a UK tour beginning June 2010, I have just gotten confirmation that this is rumor and a false one at that. I hate to disappoint all you UK’ers but don’t kill the messenger…just trying to do a job here. In the meantime, I guess we can look forward to the summer release of this:

‘Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty (Pussy) Galore’

In the age-old battle between cats and dogs, one crazed feline has taken things a paw too far. Kitty Galore, formerly an agent for cat spy organization MEOWS, has gone rogue and hatched a diabolical plan to not only bring her canine enemies to heel, but take down her former kitty comrades and make the world her scratching post. Faced with this unprecedented threat, cats and dogs will be forced to join forces for the first time in history in an unlikely alliance to save themselves – and their humans – in “Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore,” a comedy that blends live action with state-of-the-art puppetry and computer animation. It’s time for the fur to fly.

  1. This looks exciting, along with Bette Midler, I’m also a huge fan of Chris O’Donnell and Neil Patrick Harris. You know you’re going to be in for a treat with the likes of the Divine Miss M, the former Boy Wonder, and the Music Meister (the latter two in reference to all Bat-Fans of course).

    Cheers, Michael

  2. Speaking of the Bats franchise, this would be an excellent project for Catwoman to be involved with, and our own dear friend Rhae Ann Theriault should play Catwoman. 😉

  3. You know I saw the preview for this when I went and saw ‘The Princess & The Frog’ last weekend and I thought “gosh she sounds an awful lot like Bette Midler…that CAN’T be Bette Midler.” and it never showed her name! I laughed a lot at the title of the movie afterwards.
