Q:. Can it be true that Bette Midler and Mick Jagger are going to tour together? – R. W., Macon, Ga.
A: They won’t be performing together, live or otherwise, unless big money can be worked out for them to co-star in a television adaptation of “The Threepenny Opera.” Neither is known to work for the kind of money paid for TV specials.
