Who’s the good guy and who’s the bad guy: Bill Cosby or Robert Englund, better known as Freddie the slasher? Cosby, who most would think would make everyone’s favorite list, was voted among the worst in Hollywood by a poll of autograph collectors. Englund, on the other hand, was named one of the best.
The results came after a poll was conducted among readers of The Autograph Collectors’ Magazine.
This is the third year the magazine has conducted the poll and made its picks of the IO best and IO worst celebrities based on how they treat their fans.
Others in the 10-worst category this year are Cicely Tyson, Roseanne Barr, Melissa Manchester, Bette Midler, Michelle Pfeiffer, M ikhail B aryshnikov, R obert Culp, Prince and Pat Sajak.
The IO best this year, addition to Englund, are Jill Ireland, Estelle Getty, June Haver, Crystyne Haje, Phoebe Cates, Sammy Davis Jr., Vincent Price, Keifer Sutherland, and Jon Voight.
In past years, sharing the “w orst” honors have been Angela Lansbury, Linda Ronstadt, Lana Turner, Elizabeth Perkins, John Denver, Paul Michael Glaser, Peewee Herman, Don Ameche, Barbra Streisand, Molly Ringwald, Bea Arthur, Jane Curtin, Debra Winger, Jerry Lewis, Lee Majors and Sam Shepard.
Other favorites have included Sean Connery, Jaclyn Smith, Martin Sheen, Vanna White, John Candy, W illie N elson, Betty White, Linda Evans, Donna Mills, Robert Wagner, George Burns, Jimmy Stewart and John Ritter.
