VCR alert: Bette Midler will pop up – maybe literally – on the season finale of NBC’s “Seinfeld” May 18.
In the episode, the star of the fictional Broadway play “Rochelle, Rochelle, the Musical,” has a mishap when she steps up to the plate during her theater group’s softball game against a team including Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and George (Jason Alexander.)
P.S. Serious “Seinfeld” fans may remember past references to “Rochelle, Rochelle,” “the art-house film about a young girl’s strange erotic journey from Milan to Minsk.”
