Bette Midler and Cher were quite something at the Billboard Music Awards the other night.
Midler, blonde, bodacious and eternally outrageous, performed her rowdy “One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show,” with the Royal Crown Revue, and Cher looking incredibly beautiful, merely presented, but received a rousing standing ovation. Â Cher, who knows what’s up and what’s down in the biz cracked, “you know you’ve been around a long time when they stand up.”
Midler and Cher also appeared in performance Friday at  the big WKTU event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.  Jellybean Benitez, Deborah Cox, Ace Of Base, and Jennifer Paige also attended, but come on, we want the Divine Miss M and the fabulous, singular sensation, Cher.
