An Anglo-Saxon TV tradition, the project took shape thanks to Apple TV + which launched it on its global platform earlier this month. With a lot of humor and musical guests that include Ariana Grande (soon to have her own Netflix special), Jennifer Hudson and Snoop Dogg plus Bette Midler, Millie Bobby Brown, and comedian Tiffany Hadish as narrator, the special imagines that in this very complicated year for everyone Santa Claus asks Carey for help to save Christmas.
And so she travels to the North Pole to lift the spirits of the industrious elves, a high note, the kind that only she can hit at a time.
