Mister D: The rumors about Bette Midler being the surprise guest on American Idol tonight or tomorrow night are just too simmering hot for me not to print this. No, I could not get any confirmation, but you should at least tune in. For non-Idol fans it’s not going to kill you to watch or TIVO the damn show.
Last year the special guest was Prince. It’s usually very secretive who the big guest is, but on the internet things travel at the speed of light like Paris Hilton throught a red light…(ba da bing)
Anyway, I wish I could confirm this, but I can’t. Usually the last show which is Wednesday is pretty entertaining. She may appear tonight, but if she does do this my best BETTE is Wednesday night.
