BIG TIME TRIUMPH FOR B’WAY BARES

THE mostly male audience started lining up hours early to see the full-frontal nudity in “Broadway Bares,” the annual burlesque show that raised almost $500,000 for AIDS. Directed by choreographer Jerry Mitchell, the evening showcased 220 performers, including incomparable Eartha Kitt and Jane Krakowski from “Nine,” the “Gypsy” strippers and The Great Fredeni, who swallows a 16-inch-long sword. Backstage, talking to the scantily clad performers, Bette Midler and Nathan Lane l ooked impressed but overdressed. PAGE SIX contributor Jill Krementz was there to see Aramando Farfan, who did his Las Vegas Chain Act. Farfan, 34, was 9 years old and performing with Ringling Brothers when he was the subject of her book, “A Very Young Circus Flyer.”
