A bit of knowledge I learned the last trip.
Starting this year, TICKETMASTER has started charging an extra tax for Canadians (not sure if it applies to any other countries). I was charged an extra 50 dollars on top of the 2 x250 tickets I bought online. (so roughly 276 US a ticket) If you ”˜re willing to risk it, buy them in the US or at the box office when you get there.
When I asked at the box office on one of the nights we were were there, they said it was in fact a new tax. For Ms M, it’s worth it anyway, but I thought I’d give a heads up.
This didn’t occur for the 2 shows I bought last Oct, only for the tickets I bought in March. My friend who bought his (who lives in the US) was not charged the same tax 🙂
Won’t stop me from going again”¦
It’s the same for french (France)
Well… i figure, all the way to Vegas to see an amazing show at least 1 night while you’re there, it’s worth it. 🙂 And boy is it ever worth it. But Ticketmaster.. grrrrrr
Ticketmaster sucks and it always has….
We got hit with it as well, here in the UK. Ticketmaster’s grisly global embrace…
