Just wanted to wish you ladies and germs a Happy New Year…hoping beyond all hope that it will be better for all of us than last year. I mean, you always want the years to get better, don’t you? Remember to have fun, but play safe. And if you’re not going to have fun, play safe anyway! I just like saying “play safe.”
Anyhoo…thanks for a wonderful year. I know I had some pitfalls here and there, but you Betteheads always manage to pull me back up and start me working again. I don’t know how you do it, but you do. And I had so really rough patches there for awhile. Thank you so much for your support, kindness, love, tough love, and understanding…it all paid off in the end. I seriously was thinking about closing the doors on BLB, but you showed me the errors of my ways. Boy, did you!!!
I’d also like to thank Ms. Midler and her staff for keeping the faith in me. I don’t know how long this will last, but it’s been a wonderful ride. I’ve learned so much about show business…granted some things I’d rather not know…LOL It’s vicious, I tell you all, just plain vicious! All in all, thanks for another great year!
Now back to the Betteheads….none of this would be possible without you! Thanks for sticking around even if you don’t like me and I know there are some that don’t. And I get it. But without you all, I am nothing. Remember that. Thank you so much for all the stuff you send me, the tidbits, videos, mp3’s, etc. I could not do this all by myself. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness. I meant for BLB to be a community and you’ve helped me realize my dream. So thank you, thank you, thank you!
And now I’ll shut up!! I already sound like a buffoon!! I may be closed tomorrow since this year I am celebrating New Year’s with a vengeance. So there may be no updates tomorrow. But you know me, too. There could be something. Parts 3 and 4 of the Paul O’ Grady show on You Tube should be all up by this afternoon…so don’t worry about that.

what can I say? for 6 or so years I have read and depended on BLB to keep me up to date when other sources “forget” about the Divine Miss M. But more importantly, My friendship with you has just flourished. Thank you Mister D. For this site, for the info, for the humor, for the friendship and for YOU. You make so many lives brighter and happier just by being here. Love you mister!
