Miss Nefertiti Regrets – Miss Nefertiti Regrets was a theatrical production in which the young and talented Bette Midler debuted. The show took place at La Mama ETC in the East Village. Written by Tom Eyen, who would later pen the book for the iconic Dreamgirls, this quirky little musical comedy featured both music and humor. Although not widely known, it holds a special place in Bette Midler’s early career. Cinderella Revisited – In 1966, the talented Bette Midler was in the theatrical production “Cinderella Revisited”. This unique play, written by Tom Eyen, had an interesting twist: it was a children’s play by day and transformed into an adult show by night.
