Beware Of This Scam…It Could Eventually Spread To Miss M (Thanks Allison)

Beware Of eBay User Name-Checking Gigwise To Sell Bon Jovi and Michael Buble Tickets
Falsely claiming they write for us…

Gigwise would like to notify users of eBay that a seller is using our name to sell tickets.

The seller, using various profile names – including ‘time_4_tea_again’ and ‘the_stuff_u_need’ – claims he is in our employment and acquires concert tickets through us.

We currently don’t have anyone writing for us called Matt Thompson, nor would we supply this person with any concert tickets including Michael Buble and Bon Jovi next summer. Read More

Shimabukuro readies for royal performance
Midler invites virtuoso to join her in playing for queen

Jimmy Buffett and Bette Midler — now count themselves among his biggest fans.

One day he’s playing a gig with Buffett in Las Vegas, and less than a week later he gets a phone call from Midler — Buffett’s friend — asking if he will go to England with her to play for Queen Elizabeth II on Dec. 7.

Buffett planted the seed during a lunch meeting that the two Hawai’i acts should work together. Midler, a 1963 Radford High School grad, took it from there. Shimabukuro will now play before the queen the same night as Whoopi Goldberg, Michael Bublé, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and many other stars perform for her. Read More

Another Reason Bette Should Leave Vegas – A Drunk Mayor

Vegas Mayor Rips ‘Fat and Short Bette Midler’
Posted Nov 28th 2009 12:05AM by TMZ Staff

One sign Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman might be a bad auctioneer: He turned down the highest bidder … and then called her a “fat and short Bette Midler.”

The Mayor let the unbelievable dis loose at a recent auction in Sin City, after a woman he repeatedly said looked like the Divine, red-haired, Vegas performer entered a bid of $2,750 for the item on the auction block.

In the video — shot from a distance — Goodman says he won’t accept her money because “she’s fat and she’s short.” Read More
