On behalf of myself, at least, I’d like to send the best of wishes and the hopes of a speedy recovery to Mr. Bill Clinton…we need you to get better and come out of the hospital swinging….
And I’d like to share this site with everyone, also. It’s called Operation Truth, which is “a non-profit, non-partisan organization that seeks to educate the American public about the truth of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan from the perspective of the soldiers who have experienced them first-hand. ”
It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to know that we are not getting the information we need from a media embedded with corporate interests in the war…either that or they suffer from ADD…where are the people who are supposed to hold the administration accountable?…God knows they were all over Clinton during his tenure…what gives? I could start listing places on the internet and radio, but I guess this isn’t the venue to do that…
But I do think that a site set up by soldiers to inform the American public of the war from their perspective is a great place to start. Make sure you read it very closely (especially about their benefits being cut during a time of war)…here are some of the topics:
· Learn about issues facing our troops
· Soldiers reveal the truth about the war
· Is a draft coming?
· Register to vote
· Contact your Congressperson
· Support soldiers charities
