Mister D: I know my posting has been very erratic, but I’ve been going through some major changes, and I think I just burned out. So, I took time off when I needed it. My health is pretty bad, in general, but it’s nothing I can’t reverse.
The last 4 years happened to be the first time I have ever lived completely alone, and I learned I really didn’t know the first thing about taking care of myself. Through it all, I have remained remarkably upbeat and I don’t know how that happened. LOL Usually, I would have just gone over the edge. But I think my lifetime of reading books on many subjects, mostly, philosophy and psychology, finally paid off. Especially, the philosophy of Stoicism, which I would recommend to anyone who lets their emotions run their life. This philosophy just helped me step back, take a deep breath, and think more rationally. And I never have felt happier.
So primarily, I’m mainly working on nutrition and exercise. I hope to be posting daily soon again. I apologize to everyone. I should have posted earlier. So I take full responsibility for this.
Thanks for listening.

“The Glorias” will have its World Premiere at the Sundance Festival on January 26, 2020. They better hurry though because I found out they’re still filming. I was told that about two weeks ago, so it could be a wrap now. I guess it goes to editing next.
According to many magazines, it is high up on the list that most critics are looking forward to seeing out of hundreds of selections. I believe this will be the first movie with Bette Midler to go to the Sundance Festival. And I’m hoping she will attend.
A feature film based on feminist icon Gloria Steinem’s best selling memoir, My Life on the Road, telling the story of her itinerant childhood’s influence on her life as a writer, activist, and organizer for women’s rights worldwide. There will be 3 actresses playing Gloria Steinem: Lulu Wilson (child), Oscar Winner, Alicia Vikander (early adulthood), and Oscar Winner, Julianne Moore (adulthood). Bette Midler, who should have Multiple Oscars, will play the iconic feminist activist, Bella Abzug, who always seemed to wear hats. This could be Bette’s chance to win at least a supporting actress Oscar. Others in the movie are musical artist, Janelle Monáe, Tim Hutton, and Lorraine Toussaint. Keep your fingers crossed. The movie is based on Ms. Steinem’s best selling book, “My Life On The Road”
Keith Urban Asks Bette Midler For Advice
Country music superstar, Keith Urban, is about to take on a short Vegas residency, and he knew that the dry Nevada air would be taxing on his voice, so he sought out advice on what to do.
So who did he call? Why it was Bette Midler, The Divine Miss M. Bette sang at Keith and Nicole Kidman’s wedding, and so that was who he thought of first. So he called her, and she was happy to relay what Celine Dion told her.
“You have got to stay hydrated because your singing so much and it’s dry air,” Midler told him.
Urban also said, Midler “turned me onto these lozenges that help with all of that,” He also plans to reach out to Brooks & Dunn as well. “I do need to talk to Ronnie and Kix (Brooks & Dunn) for tips. We have a bunch of shows coming up at Caesar’s Palace that I am so looking forward to.”

Hope you are feeling 100% soon-Thank you for the tip on “Philosophy of Stoicism”-I googled it and it sounds Amazing and life changing!
Hey! Thanks for the compliment and I’m so glad you looked at Stoicism. I don’t know what gives, but it’s now being picked up by the mainstream. All I know is that dread many books about it, my brain just absorbed it. I’ve always acted out on my feelings which can lead you to make terrible choices choices. It really did make me step back and make me think much more rationally. You might start out with the book, The Daily Stoic, and build on that. D
Wishing you a Merry Christmas! Thank you for all that you do!! Stay well. As always, you’re the best!!!
Hope you had a great Christmas. And thank you for always having my back. Now you have the happiness of all years!
We so appreciate all the news you present to us, both BETTE related and YOU related.
Take good care of yourself
Thank you for the compliment. Well I wish I didn’t only write when I’m in trouble. If you go back to the early days, I did a lot of bitchy humor, buy I guess I ran out of the bitch!
