Directed by rising star Haley Elizabeth Anderson, this original film brings us inside Michael’s inspiration for the Spring/Summer 2021 Michael Kors Collection. Narrated by designer Michael Kors, it explores the spirit of New York City, the strength of its people, and the endless possibilities the city provides.
We also get an inside look at the designer’s process during these unprecedented times and hear from guest stars Bette Midler, singer, actress and founder of the New York Restoration Project, and American Idol winner Samantha Diaz. Diaz’s personal renditions of “You’ve Got a Friend” and “Up on the Roof”, written by fellow New Yorkers Carole King and Gerry Goffin, provided the musical backdrop for our Spring/Summer runway show, which was held in the New York Restoration Project Bronx Community Garden.
