  1. Hey there, Mister D!

Kind of a quick question, done in my typically long fashion (lol) that I have a feeling you might be able to shed some light on. But, for those of us in the twitterverse, I noticed that Bette hasn’t posted since July 5. Now, prior to that, there was a totally untrue, unfounded and taken way-out-of-context tweet that she posted about the anti-abortion ruling that was misperceived as her being transphobic. We all know that Bette is an ally to the LGBTQ community, so the attack on her seemed totally political. As far as I know, Bette has never been anti transgender, and I read her tweet and the thought of it being even remotely transphobic never entered my mind. The reaction to it, IMHO, was pure crazy insanity.
However, at the same time, there were comments floating in various news sources about protesting Disney and boycotting Hocus Pocus 2 as a result. It appears that immediately afterwards Bette just went radio silent. Do you have any thoughts on whether there is a link to this, when or if she might return to Twitter, or perhaps whether Bette is just vacationing or feeling under the weather? I realize it’s not required to post daily on Twitter, but Bette has a track record of between 2 to 7 tweets a day, and has done so, pretty much without interruption, for quite some time. Negative publicity surrounding an upcoming movie is typically never good press, so I’m wondering if Disney might have reached out to her to cool it for a while, or there’s really nothing to read into this at all. It’s a mystery….

Love ya, Don! As always, you’re the best!

    1. Ron, can you write to me at don.t.bradshaw@gmail I was going to write about it, but without bringing Bette into it. I have talked to someone on the inside, but I’m not going to name names. I dealt with some of these activists since Divine Intervention when they were walking out of Bette’s concert over that stupid benign joke where Bette showed clips of certain people she had jokingly had affairs with. She was in bed with Jenner and said they had so much fun painting each others toenails watching Beaches…that was it. So I was getting attacked because I ran a site, and there was just no talking to these people. They had zero sense of humor. I reported it to some of the comedians on that show and they said they has spent so much time on that one joke, they went with one they thought was so benign there couldn’t possibly anyone could be offended and they left it in, and I just said bravo. But I know somewhat more, maybe just a little, of what’s going on in the inside. But I have no pity on these activists. Ive listened to interviews with trans women who all agree there are activists with loud voices that don’t speak for them and they feel there’s a bigger agenda going on and it is actually causing more problems for that community and they want to be left alone. But now it has become a fad that is going to ruin many lives. It’s just a hornet’s nest and shows how easily people can be manipulalated. I have your address and I’ll try to write you tomorrow. My health just keeps taking a downturn. I’m getting lots of bloodwork tomorrow to rule out some things. I have not been proactive since Barry and I broke up. My life just turned upside down. I didn’t catr about anything since then and I just let myself go so as to just bear a long, slow, and painful death. Then I figured out what I had to do and I’m on an upward journey, I refused help for a lot of things and may have contributed to all the problems I was going through. But like you said one time, I keep getting back up, but this time it took me a long time to find how to get my footing. xx If somehow I forget which may be a problem I’m stuck with, don’t hesitate to keep reminding me. I won’t get mad, I promise, cause I want so bad to talk about this. I’d write about it but I don’t need to cause any more harm xx
