You certainly got that right…it is the best!!! Have been loving your site for years and every morning I log on for my ‘Bette-check’. I don’t know why it has taken me so many years to thank you Mr D for my daily pleasures of some new tid-bette.
I have just looked at Miss M’s new site as I do every morning, hoping the change has come and all I can say is ‘oh dear, I hope she what is there now is not the finished official site’. Gone is the lovely No Frills type picture of the coming soon page and a very mundane, jouvenile site is there. Please Miss M – give Mr D a bit of cash and use him as your archevist…he is a legend. Anyway, maybe her site will improve and they just accidently put up a work in progress.
Thank you Mr D, I can not say how much I love your work…especially the way you have been putting up her career in chronological order. As a young one, Bette didnt enter my life until around Big Business time so it has been like living through her whole career while reading your blog. Loving the Jinxed era at the moment because everything I had read in the past made it seem like a complete nightmare and that Bette was a devil but now reading the reviews and articles first hand you get a totally different perspective! The reviewers seem to like Bette and not hate the movie but not love it either.
Anyway, thanks Mr D … you touch peoples lives in a way you probably never realise….
