The Jewish Channel will broadcast the latest edition of its popular theater-oriented monthly TV show, “Row J,” to begin airing on demand on Tuesday, January 13.

“Row J” is hosted by TJC correspondent Meredith Ganzman with executive producer Brian Scott Lipton. Each episode of “Row J” focuses on Broadway and off-Broadway shows, highlighting Jewish themes, actors, writers, and directors. Theater personalities discuss their current projects and careers, alongside reviews of new shows, on-location features with theater community notables, and other special segments.

The January edition of “Row J” will include: * an in-depth studio interview with Tony and Emmy Award winner Marc Shaiman, who will discuss his many exciting project including Bette Midler’s new album “It’s The Girls,” his smash-hit West End musical “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” the upcoming concert version of “Bombshell,” featuring songs from the TV series “Smash,” and much more. * a preview of the new Broadway musical “Honeymoon in Vegas” featuring stars Tony Danza and Rob McLure, composer Jason Robert Brown, and other members of the cast. * an intimate chat with Jennifer Ashley Tepper, author of “The Untold Tales of Broadway, Volume 2” and programming director at famed Manhattan cabaret, 54 Below. * a special “Spring 2015″ roundtable featuring Ganzman along with Row J” contributing critic Jesse Oxfeld, and Carey Purcell of Playbill.com * Row J’s always provocative “question of the month” ABOUT THE JEWISH CHANNEL Called a “Jewish HBO” by the New York Times, The Jewish Channel is an award-winning premium cable television channel available nationwide.
