Disney’s ‘Hocus Pocus’ Gets Giant Sanderson Sisters Plushies For Halloween
By SEAN FALLON – September 21, 2018
Winifred Sanderson from Disney‘s cult classic film Hocus Pocus isn’t often described as “cuddly”, but this 18-inch plush doll version of her certainly is. The Winifred plush is a Spirit Halloween exclusive that you can order right here along with her sisters Sarah and Mary for $24.99 each.
Winifred wouldn’t admit it, but these plush shouldn’t be purchased individually. The Sanderson Sisters need to stick together. The same is true for Spirit Halloween’s exclusive Hocus Pocus Funko Pop collection…

Five best songs about Miami
By: Kareem Gantt
Sep 12, 2018
There is something about Miami that captures the soul of an artist.
Maybe it’s colorful neighborhoods awash in tropical colors and scents? Maybe it’s the sultry beaches and nightlife of Miami Beach? Maybe it’s the eclectic nature of the people who inhabit this stretch of land between the Florida Everglades and the mighty Atlantic Ocean?
Or, it could be a combination of the three?
Whatever the case, the Magic City and its environs have long captured the hearts of music artists in every genre, and for this AXS Top five list, let’s look at the top five songs that perfectly portrayed life in South Florida.

By Michael Christopher Times Music Columnist
Sep 13, 2018
Wednesday marked the end of an era on the Philly music scene as the iconic Electric Factory announced it has been sold to The Bowery Presents, a concert promotion and venue management group that itself was acquired by global concert promoting behemoth AEG Live in 2016.
“What a ride it’s been,” said Larry Magid, head of Electric Factory and Electric Factory Concerts, in a statement. “We would like to thank the hundreds of thousands of fans who have attended the over 2,500 shows at Electric Factory from its original location at 22nd and Arch from 1968-1970 to its rebirth in 1995 at Seventh and Willow. A special thanks to all the employees, old and new, that have worked at the Factory over the years and to the great acts who have graced our stage, it’s been our privilege to work with you.”

We Reveal 7 Secrets from Cult Favorite Hocus Pocus for its 25th Anniversary
SEPTEMBER 10, 2018
2 MINUTE READ
Ready for a serious flashback? Hocus Pocus is 25 years old.
That means it’s been a quarter century since the coven of evil witches played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy were accidentally set free to wreak havoc on Salem, Mass. And it’s been 25 years since a cult favorite was born.
For many of us, October means grabbing a pumpkin spice latte, loading up on candy corn, hitting the DVR and lining up every single showing of Hocus Pocus so we can just keep watching over and over and over again. It’s become Halloween tradition in many a household thanks to Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween. But just maybe there’s a better way?

Bette Midler zinged President Donald Trump on Thursday after he warned of “violence” should Democrats wrestle control of the House of Representatives from the GOP in the upcoming November midterm elections.
