Bette Midler slammed for calling Melania Trump ‘FLOTITS’

Mister D: Personally, I’ve been keeping myself out of the fray as far as name-calling. In fact, I’ve been doubling down on the Democrats, because they have to get better. We cannot afford to keep revoting the same people in who are not working for us, but the 1%. They are both corrupt and evil parties in their own way. We need desperately to get corporate money out and let campaigns become grassroots like they used to be. Almost every politician is a sell out and that includes Obama and Hillary.
But what kills me is all the name-calling from each side who think they have the moral high ground. And frankly, neither party does. Everything has been exposed since Trump ran and got into office. Presidents, First Ladies, GOP, DNC, MSM. It truly is a goldmine of farce and propaganda. Some of us are really waking up, but it’s taking the masses quite awhile to catch up. You don’t have to be intelligent to see it, you just have to be open and aware. It’s like Bernie Sanders said, research everything, even what I say. You do that, then watch TV news and you’ll see how much of the truth is edited out by all.
But back to Bette. I thought this tweet was hilarious. It just reminded me of the jokes she built her career on. If people say they love her, but don’t think that, then they are not truly, down to the core, Bette Midler fans. They couldn’t have gone to one of her concerts and not know something like this would happen. And it’s in now way shaming, unless you don’t like tits.
But the partisan Republicans coming out and being so shocked. I don’t buy it. It is hilarious they have to defend what most of them would have called a trollop or worse if they really stood by their values, but they’re not. I’m also aware now that not many Dems stand by there’s either. So my who worldview has changed, all for the better. I can slam either party when I need to and not care, as long as the truth is brought to light.
Now, these right-wingers are upset at what Bette called their First Lady. What did we hear when Michelle Obama was First Lady? Right! Can you imagine if Michelle or Hillary were photographed like Melania? Of course, you can! But it’s a circle we keep going around and around on till we can’t see what’s really happening. And it’s not pretty. And it’s not funny. Everything you believed in is not real to a big extent. Reading or going through history helps a lot. Start looking for the up and coming political writers that are hungry and haven’t sold out yet. You’ll learn much more if you just cut the cable, and read. TV is nothing but propaganda. We need to know more than just what Donald Trump is doing every day. We need better than to have news either geared towards Democrats or Republicans. Read the writers outside of your comfort zone. The ones that gain the ire of both Republicans and Democrats. That is the biggest gift I can give you.
This will be about as political as I get on this page. I’m starting a new page for my views on things just for me to express myself, and from what I gather, people don’t like what I have to say, because it’s uncomfortable and they don’t want to believe. That’s fine. But you will at some point see it.

“The dry cleaning bill for the upholstery on Air Force One must be insane,” the 72-year-old actress-singer tweeted Wednesday along with a photo of the now first lady, in a cockpit for a 2000 British GQ shoot.
“#FLOTITS,” Midler added, a crude dig at Melania’s breasts peeking through a peek-a-boob chain-link dress and futuristic metal headgear.
Social media users slammed the Divine Miss M, who last month called women the “most disrespected creatures on Earth.”
“Why are you doing this? Haven’t you had enough of bashing this poor woman? She was a model, so what. Don’t hate,” @Nanileeaki wrote on Twitter.
“You really just made a fool of yourself with such a catty comment. Did you feel better after posting this? That made you feel good? You should apologize.”
“Now you’ve moved on to body Shaming? You? Honestly? Is this what you want your daughter to be like as well. Teach her that if you disagree Politically that all bets are off when it comes to how you are as a human being?” @waterspryt wrote.
