Dear Betteheads,
Today, our City’s underserved communities need the refuge of open space more than ever before. New York Restoration Project is actively working in neighborhoods where the need is greatest, maintaining 52 beloved community gardens and 80 acres of parkland.
I ask you to consider making a gift now so that NYRP can continue its important work. In the difficult months ahead, New Yorkers will urgently need the mental and physical respite that our parks and gardens provide. Donations can be made online at nyrp.org/spring2020.
If you are able to support NYRP with a generous gift of $500.00 or more, it will be my pleasure to invite you to a special online experience on Thursday, May 21, NYRP’s Spring Thing: Spirit, Seeds and Song. Many wonderfully talented friends including Whoopi Goldberg, Martin Short, Seth Meyers, Tiffany Haddish, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Matthew Broderick will join me in a show of thanks for your support. It will be great fun to welcome spring together, and I hope you will be there.
In NYRP’s 25 years, we have weathered crises like 9/11 and Superstorm Sandy together. This current crisis is no exception—with your help, we’ll continue to provide essential spaces where families grow food, children learn, and culture thrives.
Thank you for considering a gift at this critical moment. Stay safe and well.
With gratitude,
Founder
