Off-air recording of the 1973 ABC special “Chevrolet Presents Burt Bacharach – Opus No. 3,” in which Bacharach and Peter Ustinov (as Beethoven) explore “modern” pop with guests Bette Midler, Stevie Wonder, and Gilbert O’Sullivan. Featuring performances like Bette Midler’s “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” Stevie Wonder’s “Alfie” and “Superstition,” plus Bacharach classic “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” and a fabulously camp Beethoven/Bacharach mash-up medley.
