An animal rescue organization that is very close to my heart, Hope for Paws, was voted among the TOP 100 charity organizations in the U.S. in the Chase Community Giving competition last month, and they won a $25,000 donation for the animals.
They are NOW in round two where they can win a ONE MILLION DOLLAR donation (the winner is based purely on number of votes we get online)!

I work in a NY office, our internet access is restricted. In an attempt to assist Hope for Paws I requested from the owners of the company to temporarily allow facebook access, to allow everyone at the office to vote for this wonderful cause!
Everyone was excited and even passed the word on to their family and friends, it actually ended up being a great conversation starter for the following week or so 🙂

I have adopted pets cats, and dogs from shelters, and seen the evidence of how their previous owners treated them. It’s just heart breaking. This is such a great thing, and I am hoping for PAWs. I have been going to their site for about 2+ years and clicking on the purple button to help donate food. Will pass the word on.
