Mister D: TOP 10 REASONS TO WATCH T0 WATCH HOCUS POCUS 2-I heard from Miss M the day before yesterday, and she asked if I would help with a small project that involved picking out certain kinds of photographs. And, of course, I jumped at that chance. If she wants or needs something, well then, my world stops immediately (my choice). However, when I found out, she was going to have the final say, I said, Oh no! I would have changed my whole strategy,
She asked me about two decades ago why I wouldn’t do her official site, and I said, “who would have the final say of what I could put up and what pictures I could use?” and she said “Me!” and I said “There ya go!” And I started laughing, and she joined in. Later, she said you’re very honest, aren’t you? I said, “yes ma’am, but I said I learned it takes a terrible toll on you, though..” I had my head down, and I felt a tear coming out of my right eye. I didn’t look up until I could replace that with a smile, and she said, “I just knew you were. And then she said, “That’s why I must like you.” It was a real moment, and I was given her card. She said anytime you need something, email or call. I knew I never would call, but she helped me out of a couple of bad situations that I didn’t even ask for her help, and I got to do little projects along the way. Of course, I received some perks, but none were extravagant, and if they were, I would have had to refuse them.
Many people, including my family, could not wrap their minds around the fact I didn’t officially go to work for her, and the answer was quite simple. I had been an overly-devout fan of Ms. Midler since I was 14, and I made her a big part of my life. But I never was the type that wanted to know where she lived or anything like that. Still, I would try to incorporate anything I learned from her into situations that put me in a state I was uncomfortable with, from live performances to college papers to alter egos (although I was horrible at picking those).
I had wanted to learn how to build websites, but I would fall asleep within minutes. My partner said why don’t you use Bette Midler to learn how to build one? Sometimes I can be really stupid. It opened up a new world for me and was an exciting time and still is. But one thing I knew very well: a working relationship with family members, friends, and relatives, and I’m guessing someone you’ve admired for so long, can be ruined in one bad moment. I did not have a lot of luck with bosses. It always had to do with honesty and hypocrisy, which led to corruption. I was right every time. But I was never happy about it. I’d get paid a nice severance and so on, then down the line, they’d be caught in some type of criminality. I know that would not happen with Miss M, but I had been burned so many times, I didn’t want anything remotely coming close to resentment or strained relationships between us! And that is my reason, and I know I made the right decision. To me, that would have been unbearable.

Disney has released a featurette highlighting the ten reasons to watch the upcoming Disney+ Original film, “Hocus Pocus 2”, coming to Disney+ on September 30th, 2022.
The film also stars Sam Richardson (“The Tomorrow War”), Doug Jones (“The Shape of Water”), Hannah Waddingham (“Ted Lasso”), Whitney Peak (“Gossip Girl”), Belissa Escobedo (“American Horror Stories”), Lilia Buckingham (“Dirt”), Froy Gutierrez (“Teen Wolf”), and Tony Hale (“Veep”). The film is produced by Lynn Harris (“King Richard,” “The Shallows”), with Ralph Winter (“Hocus Pocus,” “X-Men” franchise), David Kirschner (“Hocus Pocus,” “Chucky”), and Adam Shankman (“Disenchanted,” “Hairspray”) serving as executive producers.
“Hocus Pocus 2” will premiere on September 30th, 2022, exclusively on Disney+.

Amazing! You could have worked for Better Midler on her official site! You made an understandable decision to decline. I remember on her official site she was going to do personal reflections on all her albums but it never got completed and she didn’t do write-ups on the really interesting albums.
