Goldie Hawn to host screening of ‘The First Wives Club’ at Dryden Theatre: Details

The Hollywood legend will be in town to accept the George Eastman Award.
The museum announced Monday that Oscar-winning actress and Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn will introduce a screening of “The First Wives Club” (1996) at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, in the Dryden Theatre at the George Eastman Museum.
Hawn will be in Rochester to accept the George Eastman Award at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Dryden.
Tickets to the film screening are $50. Museum members can buy them at eastman.org/eastmanaward2024 beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9. Any remaining tickets will be sold online to the general public starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11.
“The First Wives Club” stars Hawn, Diane Keaton, and Bette Midler as college friends who reunite to ruin the lives of their husbands, who left them for other women.
The Eastman Award ceremony on Oct. 22 will feature an appreciation of Hawn’s career by Peter Bagrov, senior curator, Moving Image Department; a compilation of highlights of Hawn’s work; and a conversation with Hawn, to be followed by a gala in the museum.
