ItemWorld: Pimping his ride

RLP Limousine proprietor Robby Paster was delivering Bette Midler’s band in three vans to their downtown Minneapolis hotel about 7 p.m. last Thursday when gangland gunfire broke out on 7th St. One bullet reportedly went into a window at Goodfellow’s restaurant, two into a wall of the City Center parking ramp — and a .22-caliber slug hit the rear quarter-panel of Paster’s Lincoln Town Car, which followed the vans but was passengerless. He decided to get it fixed. “I’d keep it like that if I was driving gangsta rappers,” he said. “But I’m not. I’m trying to keep my stuff clean.” (J.B.)
