NYRP a Finalist in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good Program TODAY

NYRP is proud to announce that we’ve been selected as a finalist in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good Program — now we need your support today! In order for us to win one of the 100 cars Toyota is giving away through this program, please vote for NYRP at www.facebook.com/toyota before midnight on Friday, May 13!
If we win, we’ll use this new Tacoma to transport trees, compost, flowers, lumber, bricks, wheelbarrows and field staff. We’re hoping to replace the oldest truck in our fleet, taking a polluter off the road and getting a new ride to help our greening efforts throughout our gardens, parks and tree planting sites.
In an effort to support the good work of non-profit organizations nationwide, Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good Program is giving out one car each day for 100 days to deserving organizations through a public contest. The 500 finalists were selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of philanthropy and social responsibility experts.
