SUNDAY, Oct. 28

The Walking Dead, AMC, 9 p.m.
David Morrissey’s The Governor makes his first appearance on the show, when Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Andrea (Laurie Holden) encounter his settlement, the seemingly idyllic – at least in a zombie-infested world – Woodbury.

(Mister D: I would add “Dexter” and “Homeland” to this night as well)

MONDAY, Oct. 29

Hocus Pocus, Disney, 8:30 p.m.
Just in time for Halloween, catch this holiday favorite starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker as witches put to death during the Salem Witch Trials, brought back to life in the early ’90s.

TUESDAY, Oct. 30
The Campaign released on DVD
Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis go head-to-head and joke-to-joke in this movie about two warring candidates vying for a seat in Congress – very appropriate a week before the actual election.

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, ABC, 8 p.m.
It’s not Halloween unless you’ve watched this Peanuts classic.

The CMA Awards, ABC, 8 p.m.
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood host the 46th annual Country Music Awards, where Paisley will go up against Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton for Entertainer of the Year.

FRIDAY, Nov. 2

Flight premieres
Denzel Washington stars as a pilot, struggling to deal with his addictions, who makes an impossible landing that saves everyone on board. But his blood-alcohol level at the time of the heroics may earn him a life-sentence in prison.

Saturday Night Live, NBC, 11:29 p.m.
Since episodes of Louie won’t return until 2014, get your fix of Louis C.K. when he hosts tonight’s episode of SNL.

SUNDAY, Nov. 4

The Good Wife, CBS, 9:30 p.m.
In “The Art of War,” Alicia (Julianna Marguiles) represents a female officer who accuses a contractor of rape in Afghanistan.
