Mister D: I’m trying some new things FB is offering (Oy!) One thing is there is a poll at the end of the video where you rate it. I did it on the fly, so if you have some ideas of how to name the options, make a comment. I’d like to see which vids are like the best so I can show them more. Once the video starts, hover your pointer over the video and a symbol will come up that let’s you vote at anytime. That only works if you enlarge the video, otherwise the poll should come up at the end. If you’ve never seen the vid before, wait til the end to vote. Or this might just not work…lol….of course, it’s me, Don, Mister D, The Gay Pundit

Mister D: I found some trivia that I didn’t know until now. Bette Midler didn’t write this song totally. She took Bernadette Cooper’s “I Look Good” and rewrote the lyrics to fit her style and personality. Bernadette used to be in a group called Klymaxx. Her song, I Look Good, appeared on her solo album, Drama According To Bernadette Cooper. There were also numerous mixes of it. It was released in 1990. It looks like the album is out of print, in case you wanted to search around for it.

Mister D: I always thought Bette wrote this song because that’s the way I found it listed. But yesterday, I accidentally came up with this. Bette rewrote the lyrics to Bernadette Cooper’s (Klymaxx) “I Look Good” off her solo album, Drama According To Bernadette Cooper

I’m glad it was kept hush hush…I wouldn’t have guessed and since that was the first concert tour I actually got to see…I’m glad she made it all her own!
