It’s official! Iconic Hollywood actress Bette Midler has revealed that she will grace the stage at the Oscars ceremony on Sunday. But wait there’s more surprising news that will make all of us who fancy fresh and fabulous flower arrangements giddy and excited.

On the microblogging site, Twitter, and on Instagram the veteran singer-actress expressed her enthusiasm over her appearance. She will be crooning The Place Where Lost Things Go, which was performed by Emily Blunt in the modern film remake Mary Poppins Returns. The song, which was co-written by Marc Shaiman, was also nominated for the Best Original Song category.

Other celebrities performing on the Oscars stage include Jennifer Hudson, Lady Gaga, and Bradley Cooper.

While all this Hollywood glitz and glamour is worth noting, the biggest and probably most beautiful reason flower lovers shouldn’t miss this Oscars for the world on Sunday is Bette Midler’s number amidst 40,000 real roses!

David Korins, the creative director and production designer for the 91st Oscars, shared a snapshot of his first masterpiece on Instagram. Dubbed the “Crystal Cloud”, Korins wrote that the set weighs 1,600 lbs. and features 40,000 individual stems of real roses.

We can’t wait to see Bette Midler and this breathtaking floral spectacle on Sunday.
