She was seen at the club, often in the company of other celebrities like Liza Minnelli and Andy Warhol. Studio 54 was a popular destination for the fashion and entertainment elite, and Midler was known for her vibrant style and energetic presence, making her a natural fit for the club’s glamorous atmosphere. Ron Galella is one of the few celebrity paparazzi people know by name. The photographer, known for his iconic 1970s and 80s images and relentless pursuit of Jackie Kennedy (which ended in multiple lawsuits), created a renowned body of work, some of which is even preserved in MoMA’s permanent collection.
