NYRP’s Hulaween 2025 Will Honor Their Founder, Bette Midler

On Friday, October 24, 2025 New York Restoration Project will celebrate our 30th anniversary at Hulaween: New York, New York, a Helluva Town!
Known for its spectacular performances, dazzling costumes, and unfettered revelry, NYRP’s annual Hulaween gala raises critical funds to make the life-changing benefits of nature more accessible for all. This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as we honor our founder, Bette Midler, with a special award for her inspired leadership and unwavering commitment to our mission.
We are also thrilled to recognize our Joan Kors Green Champion honoree, Emmy Award-winning TV host, producer, and author Andy Cohen. STUDIOS Architecture will also receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for Costume Design celebrating years of ensemble excellence. We are deeply grateful for their efforts to help make our city greener and healthier for generations to come.
Hosted by the effervescent Busy Philipps, the evening will also include:
- Special performances by nightlife legends Jake Dupree, House of Yes, and Boyyyish;
- Our annual costume contest judged by Tony Award-winning producer and fashion icon Jordan Roth;
- And A Helluva Performance: A Musical Tribute to NYRP’s 30th Anniversary led by Will Lee, Grammy-winning bassist from The Late Show with David Letterman. Guests include Shoshana Bean, Sandra Bernhard, Ben Platt, and Marisha Wallace.
