She is famous for being the muse of musician Barry Manilow but while her albums have sold well she has yet to have a hit dance single here in the UK until now.
Her track “To Deserve You” has been given the remix treatment and is tearing up the chart – so much so that Bette is filming the video over here in the UK within the next few weeks.
She told my spies: “I’m thrilled as I recorded the song as a ballad, but now it’s totally mashed up.”
Expect to see Bette on TOTP (Top of the Pops) very soon.
