Catching Up With Miss M! Why? Why? Why Does This Happen?

Catching up with Miss M, Bette Midler, is happening more and more as far as Bootleg Betty is concerned. I have to say what really is slowing me down is the internet and the templates, along with these fucking algorithms used to help modernize the whole site.

I forgot the expression, but I thought the internet was going to make things easier and I’m sure it does for some things, but in my case, it has ssssllllllooooowwwweeeedddd me down to a snail’s pace. It used to be I could just slap stuff up and then piddle around in other sections. Now to get ranked higher in the search engines you have to think about the length of titles, the readability level of the audience. It really seems like they’re encouraging people to publish picture books for children. I’m guessing that contributes to the success of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. But as for me, I like to read, see photos, and videos all combined together.

Google has changed its algorithms again, and my site shows that the readability of it is difficult. For who? I hear we’re being dumbed down and there are theoried, but our attention spans are shortened. Apparently, people can only handle a title and maybe the first paragraph. I have all these google analytics that show me the average length of time on the site when I publish a new article and you’re lucky if you get 5 seconds of reading time.

People should be using my search engine which has 20 years of material. I know a lot is going to have missing photos and videos, but I’ve found out I was right about putting full articles up as if you were cutting out pages for a scrapbook because all that old stuff has been archived and you can’t find some of it on the internet anymore.

I know I could get in trouble and I have, but when I explain to them my reasoning they are cool about it. There was one time I got in deep water and i was saved by divine intervention. The case was dropped. Did I learn a lesson? Hell, no! That was once out of 20 years. It could happen to anybody that runs a site. Every site has illegal stuff on it, especially photos and videos. It doesn’t matter if you were the original poster or the millionth. What matters is if they saw yours first.

So catching up with Miss M will probably be an ongoing thing unless I suddenly become an expert in understanding algorithms. But also, not much has happened since my self-imposed sexual jaunt, so we’ll just catch up now.

Ok! So Who Does Have The Biggest Dick In Hollywood???

The Official Trailer For Amy Poehler’s Doc ‘Lucy And Desi’

The iconic couple Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz of “I Love Lucy” are getting another close-up look at their life.

The Amazon Original Documentary “Lucy and Desi”, which is directed by Amy Poehler, will take a look at the couple both from their private life to creating the classic show.

“Defying the odds, they reinvented the medium, on the screen and behind the cameras. What Lucy and Desi couldn’t make work with each other, they gave to the rest of the world,” the synopsis reads.

The documentary premiered during Sundance 2022 and includes interviews with Carol Burnett, Norman Lear, Bette Midler, and the couple’s children Lucie Arnaz Luckinbill and Desi Arnaz Jr.

“They are so famous and funny and successful, but over the years they’ve kind of become very 2D. They almost became Halloween costumes of people,” Poehler told IndieWire. “We use a lot of patriarchal language around innovators, like ‘groundbreakers’ and ‘tastemakers’ and ‘geniuses,’ and I think sometimes we lose the humanness of people, the complicated human parts.”

“Lucy and Desi” comes after the success of Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem’s “Being The Ricardos” which is up for three Oscars.

“Lucy and Desi” drops on Prime Video US & Canada on March 4.

Boy Do We Need Him Now: New George Carlin Doc ‘American Dream’ Coming

Mister D: Currently, there is no material out in the world yet about this new documentary, but I’ll bet we get to hear a piece from this. Carlin seems like he was a modern-day prophet. Watch stuff from years ago and then look at some of the things in the world that has happened and he was right on point.
