And what an evening it was. The evening featured performances by Christina Aguilera and Linda Perry, and a live auction hosted by Sharon Stone that includes items donated by Bette Midler, Pink, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys. Cybill Shepherd, Sarah Silverman, DJ Samantha Ronson, Eliza Dushku, Rosario Dawson, Leisha Hailey, Clementine Ford, Perez Hilton and many others are also expected to attend. The host committee includes Cher, Kristen Bell Eric Dane, Jared Leto, Alicia Silverstone, Ben Silverman, Slash and many more.
The evening brought together lesbians, bisexual women and their supporters together for an incredible evening of dining, dancing and celebrating the achievements of women who are making a difference in our community. It’s also an evening with extraordinary entertainment.
Funds raised at An Evening With Women support a wide range of women’s programming at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, including women’s health, legal assistance, domestic violence prevention & education, and cultural programs designed especially for women.
