Just A Tip: Not Sure How Accurate

Got a tip from BetteHead Leslie (if anyone doesn’t want to be called a BetteHead, please let me know when you write me, and I’ll mull it over) that some person or company is auctioning a copy of Bette Midler Sings The Peggy Lee Songbood Dual Disc on EBAY…but you can’t get it until the official street date which is October 25th. So, I’m not sure what’s so special about that, but it does have some information on it that we didn’t know previously…and if it’s true, then it makes the disc even more exciting. According to the write-up, there is a duet with Barry Manilow on “I Love Being Here With You” and one more track than what the Sony site says, but which I originally reported would be on there, “He Needs Me.” So it may be that that track will make the final cut, I just don’t know. Don’t you love all this Miss Marple shit???

Now for the DVD side, they have this listed:

DVD Side:

  • Entire album in enhanced PCM stereo
  • Fever (Video)
  • He’s a Tramp (Video)
  • Is That All There Is? (Video)
  • Interviews with Bette Midler and the daughter and grandaughter of Peggy Lee as well as archival footage from the estate of Peggy Lee
  • You can check it out here – they do have a disclaimer on there that “CONTENTS OF THIS ITEM ARE GIVEN AS LISTED OFF OF THE VENDOR’S ORDER SHEETS AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THE STREET DATE CAN CHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME ALSO.”

    Check It Out Here!

    Thanks Leslie

    Love, Mister D
