I kindly “begged” Mr. Shaiman to share his rewrite of WBMW’s that he wrote for Ms. Midler’s 60th birthday celebration at Hulaween. Let me tell you, there was some serious laughter going on, but then the heart strings began to be pulled. I don’t know about the other tables, but at ours, the tears began to flow (Bette was crying, too…that didn’t help!)…as did the wine!
