Working On The “Hammond Story”

I will be trying to write my Hammond experience today, so be patient. I know you all are just dying to hear about my hotel, lack of food (except for a divine Kim), and taxi cab misadventures. I just hate writing. Whatever.

Also, over the weekend, I’ll be posting a story, a series of many to come, from Mr. Ray Cooper who will relay his stories about Bette from over the years, even before she was famous. There will be no rhyme or reason to the order of the stories. I just told Mr. Cooper to write what he felt at whatever time.

I’d like to encourage any long time Bette Midler fans from the early days to write their stories and experiences if they find them interesting. Think of it as a fan’s perspective.

I will make a special section for these stories. Anyway, we’ll see where it goes.

  1. That’s sound SO interesting!!! I’d love that kind of stories, cause you can see the person behind the Diva, the artist….. I like biographies and autobiographies very much. And if they are stories about Bette, that can be SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!.

    Love, and Thanks,

    Eze.

  2. Mr. Ray Cooper??!!! I miss him so much and boy can he tell a good Bette story or 2 (ask him about New Year’s Eve a few yrs ago).
By the way, would you want my story from TheView when Bette and I first met?? I STILL cannot believe it happened 😉
