Fashion designer Bob Mackie and singer Olivia Newton-John watched Bette Midler’s The Showgirl Must Go On at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum last night. Both are longtime friends of Bette and went backstage after the show to say hi. Bette is rumored to be returning here after a vacation when her run ends Jan. 31. After she’s rested, she’s talked about a series of performances at Encore Theater in the Wynn a la Garth Brooks. ”¦
