Celebration surrounding the opening of the new National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH), the nationâ€™s only museum dedicated solely to telling the story of Jews in America, and press conference with leaders, architect and designer.

The $150 million, 100,000-square-foot museum explores the universal themes of freedom, civil rights and assimilation told through the life experiences, struggles and triumphs of American Jews. The 25,000 square feet of gallery space features cutting-edge interactive technology, compelling artifacts and immersive environments, and will explore the choices and challenges faced by Jews since their arrival on this continent in 1654.
