Meeting the Palace’s Newest Queen (video)
The grandest of Broadway’s queens – from Ethel Barrymore to Sarah Bernhardt to Ethel Merman to Judy Garland to Bette Midler to Liza Minnelli – have, at one point or another, inhabited the Palace Theatre.
Now, a new monarchy has arrived at the Palace headed by a new queen: her Majesty Priscilla. A big gal though she may be – clocking in at around 5 tons! – she is also bright, sometimes brash and always exquisite.
Recently, a few of us got the chance to take a private tour of the Queen’s new Palace and to meet the “lady” herself.
