BETTE MIDLER- By Bette Midler on Atlantic.

Bette’s first album was a once-in-a-lifetime shot where she brought back some oldies as only she could. Her recent effort is jusl as good, with a little more background than before, which is just what the Divine Miss M needed to keep her 1940’s style up.

The album was produced excellently by Arif Mardin and Barry Manilow. Some of the tunes on the record are “Skylark,” “Drinking Again,” “In The Mood” and “Uptown–Da DooRunRun.”
