I thought Bette Midler was just super on the Academy Awards show, but how come there were no interviews with her later? – T.R.
Nobody can quite figure out why Bette, who certainly was one of the nits of the show, refused to go to the Green Room for press interviews, which all the other stars did.
Midler did show up for the ball later where everyone offered congratulations on her lively and irreverent introduction to the music award.
