Bette Midler brought her lookalike daughter Sophie von Haselberg to the opening of Broadway’s Honeymoon in Vegas on Thursday.
The 69-year-old pop diva and her 28-year-old mini-me bundled up in matching black coats as they entered the Nederlander Theatre.
The Yale grad is an actress, speaks Mandarin Chinese, and appeared in her mother’s music video for From A Distance back in 1990.
”˜Just got out of Honeymoon in Vegas,’ the I’ll Eat You Last actress tweeted.
”˜IT WAS GREAT!! Great book, great score, great cast, what a night! Hope it’s a big fat hit!!’
Not seen with Midler was her husband of 30 years ”“ artist Martin von Haselberg ”“ whom she wed six weeks after meeting in 1984.
”˜It’s like a thousand years in dog years. Our marriage is the oldest marriage in Hollywood,’ Bette told Good Morning Britain last month.
But Sophie was the glue who held their bond together.
”˜We used to fight bitterly!’ The Divine Miss M recalled.
”˜We came to the conclusion that we wanted to raise a child. We wanted to raise a really wonderful child. We never wanted to hurt that kid in any way and we stayed together until it got better, and it did get better and it was really fascinating.
”˜And both of us, we both look back and we just like wipe our brows and say, “What the hell was that?””˜
Two months ago, the Honolulu-born belter dropped her girl group-inspired 14th studio album It’s the Girls!
Bette will kick off her 22-date It’s the Girls Tour with a two-night stand at Florida’s Hard Rock Live in Hollywood from May 8-9.
And Sophie will play April in this year’s untitled Woody Allen project, which stars Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix.
Honeymoon in Vegas star Tony Danza enjoyed a Taxi reunion when his former co-stars wished him well on his Broadway opening.
