Bette Midler‘s next film is likely to be the comedy “My Fair Larry,” an update of the Bernard Shaw play “Pygmalion,” which itself became the basis for the musical “My Fair Lady.” “Larry” was described as “a reverse ‘My Fair Lady’ in which Bette Midler will play the Rex Harrison role, in this case a Donna Karan type who makes a bet that she can’t turn the janitor of her company into the ultimate man. Eventually, she does and they fall in love.”
