September is almost over! How did that happen? Whether you’re ready for the fall season to begin or not, a new week is here and that also means plenty of new on Netflix. This week brings a new Netflix Original series from Ryan Murphy, the next season of a horror anthology (also from Ryan Murphy), and another season of an Australian zombie show.

If you’re looking for a political drama/comedy, you need to check out Ryan Murphy’s new Netflix series, The Politician coming Sept 27. The show follows Payton, a high-school student who will do anything and everything to become the president of his class. The cast features Ben Platt, Gwenyth Paltrow, Zoey Deutch, Jessica Lange, Dylan McDermott, and Bette Midler. Ms. Midler is a special guest star, and won’t appear on the show until the finale. Then she will be in the second season.

If you’re more in the mood for horror (it is that time of year after all), American Horror Story: Apocalypse will hit Netflix Sept. 24. For the eighth season of the scary anthology series, nuclear missiles have destroyed the world and created a nuclear winter. Despite that, a few “elite” people have survived and lived in different outposts across the country. This season brings together the first season, Murder House, and the third season, Coven.

Or maybe you’re looking for a good zombie show. The third season of the Australian zombie series, Glitch, is coming to Netflix on Sept. 25. The show follows the people of Yoorna, Victoria as people start rising up from the dead. They have no memories of who they are and seem to be completely healthy. The local sheriff and the local doctor trying to figure out why this is happening.
